Think you’d never want to go to Starbucks for coffee? That might still be the case but you might want to go for the design. The concept store in Amsterdam is in a former bank vault on Rembrandtplein and is built to showcase eco design and small batch coffee brewing.
Far removed from their typical American big chain identity and design, the Amsterdam shop has tables, benches, and ceiling tiles built with recycled Dutch Oak and walls lined with recycled tiles. The high ceiling and grand floor plan also add to the splendor and introduced Starbucks as a contention for high styled branding.
No coffee for me here but a grande order of design please!
